About Us

Alan B. Padfield and Mark W. Stout are founding partners of the firm, a limited liability partnership formed in 2003 as a continuation of their practice of law together since 1998. Both partners are experienced in counsel and representation of clients in primarily civil litigation matters.

From offices in downtown Fort Worth, the firm serves clients in jurisdictions throughout Texas. Building on the partners’ expertise in all aspects of litigation in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts — selection of venue, pleading and motion practice, discovery, trial strategy, negotiation, mediation, preparation and presentation of evidence, and appeals — the firm counsels clients on alternatives and provides representation in litigation and transactional matters as well as negotiated settlements.

The firm is particularly positioned to provide legal representation throughout the State of Texas — it is affiliated with local counsel in every major metropolitan city in Texas and in each of the twenty-three cities where Texas bankruptcy courts are located.

The firm is also well positioned to provide local counsel on matters for clients or law firms based outside of Tarrant County.  The attorneys of the firm are knowledgeable regarding local rules, practices, and personalities of the bankruptcy courts and the State county courts, district courts, and appellate courts sitting in Tarrant County and Dallas County, having appeared as counsel before all of the current judges. Christopher Arisco, Hunter Parrish, and Jeff Leaverton are associates with the firm and George Pence is Of Counsel for the Firm.
